Liver Disease Clinical Trials
Join Our Clinical Research Trial Exploring Liver Disease
We are conducting a clinical research trial to test an investigational medicine for people with a liver condition known as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with fibrosis. This study aims to determine how effective and safe this investigational medicine is for treating MASH.
What is Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH)?
MASH is a type of liver disease where fat builds up in the liver, leading to inflammation and damage. This can cause fibrosis, which is the scarring of liver tissue. Over time, if left untreated, it can lead to more serious liver issues.
Key Facts About Liver Disease
- The Liver’s Role: Your liver is vital for digestion, detoxifying your blood, and storing energy.
- MASH: This condition occurs when the liver stores too much fat, causing inflammation and scarring.
- Symptoms: Many people with MASH might not have symptoms initially, but over time it can lead to fatigue, pain in the upper right abdomen, and other complications.
